Scenario: Nadal two sets down at RG WWW?

Against either Djokovic or Federer

Edit:
Hypothetical case: Nadal is given a 2 set deficit without having played.

i'm afraid neither, but if djokovic plays out of his mind to go 2-0 against nadal i would give him the edge (over federer)

Nadal being 2 sets down at Roland Garros would mean that something serious is wrong with him so he'd lose against both

Ok, didn't make it clear enough. Hypothetical case: Nadal is given a 2 set deficit without having played.

Re: Scenario: Nadal two sets down at RG WWW?

They both have two problems vs Nadal on clay: (1) He is much better than them; (2) Even if by some miracle they can make it close, he has balls of concrete whereas they both either start crying like little girls or get "injured" as soon as the going gets tough.

Most likely they will both fall at hurdle (1) i.e. they will go down in straight sets and Nadal will not have to prove his total mental domination over both players.

in this case, whoever wins the first set played would probably win the match.

Well if they walked out there with a two set edge, I'd take either of them to pull it off. Even for Nadal starting out cold down two sets would be pretty tough.

Rafa will win either way
unless he's terribly, seriously injured

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Maybe Fed and Nole should assume their 2 sets up when they walk on court against Rafa, might make them actually win a set.

Re: Scenario: Nadal two sets down at RG WWW?

Nadal would only be two sets down if he was playing Djokovic and Federer at the same court having to cover a doubles court as well.

Both Federer and Djokovic would beat Rafa 2-0 up.

Re: Scenario: Nadal two sets down at RG WWW?

Both if they won the 1st two sets. Going 2 sets to love down against either of them isn't really good for Nadal. Federer came back from a 0-2 deficit at last years Wimbledon so... I think it will too much on Nadal.

But the real question is How the hell would he go 0-2 down at RG?

He was saying, hypothetically they walked out there up two sets. Not that Nadal lost the first two, he basically spotted them two sets. As stated earlier, I'd take either of them to win one set.

Re: Scenario: Nadal two sets down at RG WWW?

Murray would probably choke a 2 set lead against Nadal on clay, but Djokovic and Federer would get too confident and aggresive. The desperation which you feel facing Nadal on clay just doesnt apply when you are leading 2-0.

Well. I'm sure Djokovic or Federer would manage to win 1 set in a normal match so that would give them a third set, so they would win.
