Djokovic def The Legenda 6-4 6-4

closer than the score line. Ljubo got broken from *40-15 in the first and *30-0 in the 2nd....wasted some chances to break...Jagoff Djokovic couldn't miss on big points if he tried . Bad serving from Ljubo.

Poor Novak. He can't get away from Rafa. There is no escaping your fate dude. Another one in the loss column.

Expected. Ljubo has good year so far but is too weak to take a set from 4 best players in the world.

Superb from Ljubo. Very smart, he was doing all the right stuff, knowing that his defense will not be good enough to endure Djokovic attacks, he was taking initiative right from the start to the end pushing him in the ropes. Unfortunately he couldn't maintain such high level of execution to pull this one. However, he tested to the maximum Djokovic defending counter-punching skills.

Re: Djokovic def The Legenda 6-4 6-4

First serve percentage really let him down. Novak was very strong and solid especially on serve in the first set. He lost his focus in the 2nd, and if Ljubo had been more clutch, he could have taken advantage and taken it to a 3rd.

Pretty strong showing from Novak though. The way he got the break in the first from 15-40* was very good.

Except they play in the semis.

Djokovic got pushed, but did what he had to do here. Ljubo having a nice comeback. I'd like to see how he'll do at the French.

Re: Djokovic def The Legenda 6-4 6-4

Good match. Both very consistent, Ljubo's bad serving was the deciding factor.

Congrats to Djoko for the victory, kudos to Legenda for making a great run in this tournament.

Ljubicic was very close in those two BP . Easy shots.
And in the two games that he broke the Legend, he had so much luck - two times in a row, three shots just milimeters from out .

Probably the serving was key.
In games when Djoko wasn't over 50% Ljubo always had deuce .

I think that Djoko in this type of clay courts has more chances than in any other court to beat Rafa.
