Madrid R3: Verdasco[7] def. Monaco 75 62

Too big from the Madrid native. Next round will be his Waterloo though.

Another Verdasco-Nadal match coming up. Then, another Nadal-Novak match, and another Murray-Nadal final.

Nando is very consistant these days, unfortunately Rafa next, very bad draw for Nando, in the other section of the draw would advance to the final where obviously would lose to Nadal with the same scoreline like tomorrow

Very nice clay tennis as compared to Fed-Blake match
Pico where's your gut when you serve out the 1st set?

Good win. H2H before this was Monaco 5-1 Verdasco, and the 1 win was on lightning fast carpet where Monaco is an utter muppet.

pathetic display from monaco, UE every 2 shots, bad footwork, bad shot selection, poor shot making, basically he fucked up as usual.

Monaco got very tight for the points that mattered. But well played by Nando.

Nando!

Too bad he has to face Rafa. At least the quarterfinal streak lives on.

Lucasfilm still haven't followed up Verdasco's use of the 'Force' hand gesture. You'd think a company as bis as that would have been careful enough to copyright the signal. Even Kroon and Wilander had the wherewithal to patent their vicht trademark, which led (it is rumoured) to an out of court settlement when Hewitt stole it from them.
