Wow, impressive scoreline! Well done Stani.

Match summary:

Both held serve, 1-1
Cruggy breaks! Surprise on the cards?
Urrm, nope. Wawrinka won 11 games in a row.

Wawa got better as the match went on, by the end was hitting some gorgeous cannonball groundstrokes.

some of the winners he hit in the second set are just gorgeous.

as always, took his time to get his game together, stani, but when he got his shots working - just wow. he had some guts to go for the difficult/risky shots, it'd look as a silly shotmaking judgement had it failed, but tonight almost all his daring shots paid off well.

good job, stan . hope he'll keep up this level (and improve) through the tournament.

Good effort from Marco in the 1st: he was break up, but then blew too many game points and break points. After that he started serving horrible. Anyway he did more than anyone was expecting from him here, on his worst surface.

Stan was almost perfect.
