Madrid R1: Ferrero fights past Kunitsyn 6-3 4-6 6-4

Ferrero had another though match against Kunitsyn but this time he won the match.

Great that he pulled it out at home soil, must be very important to him.

That was a nerve-wrecking match to follow on livescore, but I'm glad Juan Carlos won!

It's not confirmed but his wrist problem might have resurfaced during the second set, which was a breakfest (there were seven breaks of serve!).
Glad whatever problem he had he could put behind in the decider. The first set was straightforward though.
Next up, Nando. Will be a toughy for JC I know but I wish him all the best!

JUAN CARLOS FERRERO FOREVER!!

Also supporting Rafael Nadal, Kei Nishikori, Lleyton Hewitt
David Ferrer, Andy Murray, Juan Martin Del Potro, Nikolay Davydenko, David Nalbandian
Goran Ivanisevic and Marat Safin

Would have been more than embarrassing to lose to this guy twice. Well done JCF. Finally get to see him on TV now.
