Talking Irakli Labadze finishes career and becomes a coach

One of the greatest players of all times (in terms of his size obviously) definitely threw in the towel and has been seen coaching Nikoloz Basilashvili (another Georgian, born in '92, ranked in 800s) at Izmir challenger. According to my reporter who prefers to stay anonymous, Irakli grows his hair and belly, and argues with the umpires from the stands.

All the best on your new path of life

What the hell was it with this guy? Booze? Food? Laziness?

One good run in IW '04, and some respectable performances in that same year, but faded away quickly. Big time underachiever or too big a lover of life?

As if a Georgian player needed any advice on tanking, fixing and being generally obnoxious...

Labadze, the wayward genius, one of the bad things in tennis was that he and Gabashvili never played Davis Cup together, well more so because of Gabashvili.

Keep on eating and loving life.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Iralki. Hopefully he'll be a bit more successful as a coach.

This is a true loss to tennis One of the funniest characters I have ever seen on court, which reflects both positively and negatively upon him. I would not want him as my coach, but maybe Basilashvili gets something out of it.

He was a character and for all his bad behavior still somehow endeared himself to the spectators.

But Basilashvili has been having pretty good results for a Georgian lately so he mustn't suck as a coach.
