Re: Madrid Main Draw

Looks like we will have a Fedal final and Djokovic won't regain #3.

I hope Murray gets past everyone including Delpo and faces Roger.

Nadal career prediction: 6 RG, 2 Wimbledon, 1 Australian Open, 1 US Open, 2 Master Cup, 20 Master Series, 65 titles.
(Predicted before RG 2008 when he had 3xRG)

Re: Madrid Main Draw

Murray got a marshmallow soft section.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Madrid Main Draw

looking good for Fed, I see no real threat for him to the final, but then again his form isn't exactly in best shape lately so...

make the final Roger

Looks like we're going to see a 6th straight quarterfinal loss for Verdasco...

He should be happy. Everytime he reaches a QF he consolidates his top ten status.

Nadal career prediction: 6 RG, 2 Wimbledon, 1 Australian Open, 1 US Open, 2 Master Cup, 20 Master Series, 65 titles.

The top half is the easier section.

Thanks for posting. Fed should make the final or its curtains.

Re: Madrid Main Draw

I want to see how these courts play, but Nadal-Nando already looks good in the QF, nice to see Pico get a WC as well.

Djokovic will lose to the King in the 2nd round, and a Querrey-Safin QF awaits in the 2nd quarter. Wawrinka should make the quarters as well, but the JMDP section has plenty of guys that may benefit from the 600m.

Bolelli will make it close vs. Murray but will choke when in prime position. Wawrinka in the semis over Andy.

Roddick could also make a run here to set up a QF clash with the artist formerly known as Federer.

Nadal-Djoker and Murray-Federer semis. If only just for a change...

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Denko is playing pretty well right now, and I consider Muzza's Rome loss as a typical off-day. I think he'll surely try to do better in Madrid.

I'll first have to see whether Roger himself is anywhere near to... well, himself of past times, before making any prediction.
