Munich R1: Beck def Zverev 6-3 6-4

The Monte-Carlo QFist defeats the Rome QFist.

Shame for Mischa to crash down like that after challenging Fed in Rome. But the home crowd are probably happier to see the one born in Germany make the 2nd round.

That's rubbish imo, I've never noticed that people in Germany are less supportive with Zverev than with the other German players because of his origins.

A German at least made it through to the next round.

If anything Bavarians would cheer less for Zverev as he is from Hamburg, (yes it's a joke).

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

And talk about flukes and bandwagonning.......

A couple of days ago Zverev was Top20, maybe Top10....

Expect him to lose in the first round of Halle to Boom Boom Qureshi and I hope everything will come back to normality.
