More mentally scarred against Nadal - Novak or Roger?

They are both closing in on Turkey status against Nadal. Novak just needs 1 more loss to become Nadal's Turkey. Novak is 4-13 against Nadal and Roger is 6-13.

Who is more afraid to face Nadal and who will get to Turkey status first?

Discuss.

Need ideas for a new signature...

Well Federer is an easier match for Nadal.

Federer's losses have been in far more important situations so surely he feels the pressure more.
Djokovic will be a turkey very soon, probably in RG (doubt he'll play madrid after Belgrade)

Re: More mentally scarred against Nadal - Novak or Roger?

novak has not nearly been as close to beating nadal as federer on clay.

federer has had millions of opportunities to put nadal on the wall but he he screwed up each time. of course this isnt just nadal, we are seeing federer have the same problems against murray and djoker as well.

djokovic as well as he fights is not as close as federer was.

Nole loses to Nadal were mostly on Clay, on the other hand Roger loses to him in grass and hardcourt slams respectively in finals.

nole lost to swine flu on grass final last year and also has lost on hc to dull boy...you bunch of overhypers bringing roger into this.

today proves what i've been saying for years..now nole the new generation will get to be on roger's shoes.

but worry not, rafa will decline or finally get busted, then nole has a lot of time to become RG champ(and i hope so too).

Re: More mentally scarred against Nadal - Novak or Roger?

So easy to count. The one to become a turkey first is the guy whose draw throws him onto Nadal earlier for appropriate number of times. So if Federer first plays a few times against Nadal, he will become the turkey first. Djokovic might be losing his earlier matches on purpose to not fall into Nadal and postpone his destiny this way.

What a troll thread .

Re: More mentally scarred against Nadal - Novak or Roger?

More scarred? Roger, surely.
Djoko is able to bring his best game against Rafa, it just isnt good enough (on clay, anyway). Roger, on the other hand, completely craps himself when he sees Mr.Vamos on the other side of the net. Obviously it has to do with matchups, weapons, counters, frustration rising from the above, yaddayaddayadda, but the end result is the same - Roger performs at less than half power against him.
The 2009 addition is breaking down to other players in the same manner, it used to be Rafa exclusive.

Summs it up pretty well. Fed has been close to get the job done on numerous accounts. Djoko: not at all. Djoko might well have his chances in the future, I fear Fed's have ran out by now.

Mental is not the issue. Nadal is just the best player in the big matchs.

Mental Scarring inflicted by Nadal:

Fed 85%
Nole 70%

Fed has wilted more under Nadal's pressure. Nole still has many years ahead of him, time will tell if (and when) he becomes what Roddick is to Fed.

Re: More mentally scarred against Nadal - Novak or Roger?

Nadal is just too good and improving. While the same stand for Djoko, Fed, at the moment, is declining but i'm sure he'll come back at his best. Everybody are equally scared of him, not only Fed and Djoko, but every single guy out there. The only difference is that two of them are playing most important matches with him. I'm looking forward to the future, it will be an interesting one. As to the turkey thing, they just want to win, period. How many times they are going to loose doesn't matter as long as they can take him while he is on his peak and when it really matters (Nole didn't manage today and it really mattered, but there will be other opportunities).
