Some entertaining forehand to forehand rallies but Nadal was just too consistent again. It was competitive at 3-3 in the first and 2-2 in the second but the winner was never in doubt.

Disappointing match really. Neither at their best. Rafa looked poor in the first few games, started playing safer, and Nando made the errors on the big points. He played an absolute shocker to get broken in the 2nd set.
Pretty easy in the end for Rafa. Up against Pico or Gonzo next.
Those "6-3 6-2 if I play an awful match" pics should be in full swing in this thread. Uninspired from Nadal, but just enough to win and win without too many hassles. Some good stuff from Nando but wildly inconsistent. Hope the injury tweak isn't serious
im worried about the djokovic threat to rafa at roland garros, djoko is in top form.
Djoko can only keep up with Nadal for 1 set. He has absolutely no chance vs. Nadal in a 3 out of 5 set match. He can't stay focused for that long. He cannot keep up with Nadal in a 5 set match mentally or physically. Nadal is just too good. SICKKKKK defense. You need to hit like 20 amazing shots in a row jut to win one point.
