One of his biggest clay-court wins I hope Davydenko is finished as a Top 10 player.

WOw, Juergen, I did not expect that. Well done, though I could not see it.

Another suprise.

Good for Nadal though.

Also good for conspiracy theorists.

Typical Melzer - several weeks of abject crap and then this.

Davy - perhaps feeling the effects of two tough weeks with SF in Barcelona and QF in Monte Carlo - he can hardly be back to full match fitness yet, a heel injury would have made it difficult to train to keep his fitness levels up.

Wow Jürgen, was not expecting this result.

Definitely been a great day of tennis results (except Kohli losing)

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Probably too much matches all of a sudden for the reconvalescent.

Re: Rome R2: Melzer def. Davydenko 7-5 7-6(5)

take it easy Niko, you just came back from a long break, Melzer is always a tricky opponent, sometimes in a good way and sometimes like this, you just never know what you will get
