So for example if you think Federer is going to retire at a younger age (let's say 30) than Djokovic (let's say 32) then you'd have Federer listed before Djokovic in your order

Like every other thread in MTF, the intention is discussion. Hopefully you haven't written 6000+ posts with the assumption that you have made an actual difference to the real world of tennis.

Same thoughts here, maybe just swap Federer and Nadal.

You are really stubborn

Nadal is not yet 23, Djokovic and Murray not yet 22,

and you already want to plan their retirement !

I guess you already have a death insurance even if I think you're very young

I think a more interesting question would rather be : who do you think will be number 1 in 2 or 3 years ? Nadal ? Murray ? Djokovic ? Del Potro ? other ?

Right after being knocked out by Oscar in RG R1 2009.

Re: What order (as in their age) will the top4 (Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Murray) ret

This was made for trolling, but since I'm writing an article (at this moment) about falls of the big champions, maybe any of you would like to share something constructive either here or by a PM (I already got some cool stats from Voo de Mar about Borg and Nadal being the same age).

I remember the circumstances in which Sampras finished his career (IMO Fed is going exactly the same path), or Hingis, Henin, Graf or Seles but can't really say much about Borg (the weirdest career finishing I've ever seen - what happened to this guy?), Laver, Lendl or Edberg

If it was in your opinion only physical fatigue and losing to the younger ones, or there were some stories behind it (that's why I consider for example Hingis as an interesting example).

At this moment I'm at the stage of doing the researches, any serious hint would help. Thanks in advance

at least you're right talking about "falling", which is very different from retiring, which probably youngsters here don't realize

I think Wilander and McEnroe are very interesting examples, but I don't have any specific articles about them.

Wrong permutation
4 persons vying for 4 spots in an order
There should be 4x3x2x1=24 choices

"If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same"

Believe in yourself, Novak.
That's all I ask of you.

2011, 2014 & 2015 Wimbledon.
