Post Rotterdam 09 - 1R - (4) G.Simon Vs P.Kohlschreiber - WWW?

Best match scheduled for tommorow in my opinion, tough one to call, simon is so under rated and very solid on these surfaces, and although Kohli rarely beats the guys at the top of the game he is so talented and has that beautiful single hander. I reckon Simon will take this in 3, what do you guys think?

Kohli in 3! Although I'm biased . But anyway, I think more likely than not it depends on form on that day. If Simon has a bad day he can lose to anyone. If Kohli has a bad day (i.e spraying UEs everywhere) he can lose to anyone too. So it's too close to call IMO.

Kohli needs to play really well to have chance.

When Kohlschreiber played in Auckland in January he had to withdraw due to shoulder injury, and about a week later he plays Australian Open. That must've been one quick recovery.

I like Kohlschreiber a lot more as a player, so I hope he can take this. My bet is Simon in 2 sets though.

an in-form Kohlschreiber would dismantle Simon in 2 sets
I think Simon in 3 maybe

People call him a pusher and an over achiever and say that he wont stay at this level for long in terms of top 10, i disagree, i just think he does not get enough recognition, i mean he has been to master series final won 5 other tournies and beaten all of the top 5, nadal, federer, novak, murray and davydenko, also tsonga etc. you dont beat nadal or murray by pushing the ball around because of how they play.
