Gonzo thumps Acasuso 6-1 6-3 to win Viña del Mar

Too good Gonzo.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Martin Rodriguez has done well with Gonzo and he was clearly the man this week.

Well done on his 4th title there, well really he won 3 playing in finals. Good week for Acasuso, but he was thrashed today.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

A hot-dog by Fena at 4:3 (40-30) in the second set was the hardest I've ever seen
I don't like those tournaments when a player has to win only 4 matches to take a title

MM tournies should not have a bye for seeded players. Nuts.

Damn. A closer match would at least give the crowd the chance to get more involved. But well done to Gonzalez who was playing very close to the level he showed at AO 2007.
