Boring match to watch, all serve this hutchins, more of a doubles player but gave pretty good acount of himself against a classy player such as vliegen

Oh well, he got 12 ranking points He's better than most of the British players. The only Brit I could see beating him in that form is Evans. Or maybe Ward. Hutchins bearly onto Vliegen's serve Good luck in future singles, Ross

I doubt he has any future in singles. He was there for doubles and stuck his name down in the worst qualifying draw in ATP history* for fun.

* - this may or may not be factually correct

That may be true. But he did bring Vliegen to two close sets. If he returned better I would think that he'd be playing Minar in Rnd 2.
