What was Federer thinking after the matchpoint?

What do you think Federer was thinking after the matchpoint? Apparently he was watching the match in his suite like most night matches.

He might be happy about this match was a marathon but on the other side he knows he has to play Nadal.

Re: What was Federer thinking after the matchpoint?

You're looking into this way too much.

He knows the final is his to lose whoever he faces and if he'd faced Verdasco people would have said he got lucky to avoid Nadal. Do you play tennis at all, Bilbo? Players enjoy the motivation of trying to beat someone who has gotten the better of them in the past.

That is so true. I was kind of thinking that Fed might be worried about the 6-12 record against Rafa and choke. But thinking again, if I were him, I'd love to have a chance to take down a player that beat me as well.

He probably woke up sometime around 00:30 a.m., turned on the TV, went "Jeez, they're still at it?", and went back to sleep.
