Exclamation Rafa Nadal Pulling Out Of The Davis Cup 2008 Final Saved Verdasco's Potential

So Obvious but SO SO SO true

He has a huge debt to pay Rafa, winning the davis cup did wonders for his confindence, as i said in another thread, verdasco has always had the complete game, huge forehand, effective serve, very good movement and most importantly he can PLAY ON ALL SURFACES to a high standard.

We all know how good he was, it was just a matter of confindence and by winning the deciding rubber in argentina he now has incredible belief that he is good enough to achieve the highest achievements in the game.

We have all in the past been critical of his mental state on the court and now that all the mental demons have been banished he can forfill his potential, this is what T.Berdych needs to find.

I'm not sure world #15 is obscurity, but I agree that winning the DC has done a lot for him.

I would take a wild guess that his ranking would of floated from 20 to10 to maybe 6 or 7 then back down to 18 and possibly worse, he was very hot and cold.
