Re: AO 3R: Roddick smashes Robredo 7-5, 6-1, 6-3

Robredo dropped an average of two games per set in the previous three rounds. And now he barely made two games per set himself. But as said before, it was completely expected.

Re: AO 3R: Roddick smashes Robredo 7-5, 6-1, 6-3

robredo was always overrated, but i didn't expect him to lose by that kind of margin. Roddick still will fall far short of being even considered for the title though.

Boredo doesn't like to meet players who, unlike himself, actually have a weapon.

Joachim Johansson / Ivo Karlovic / Andy Roddick / Ernests Gulbis / John Isner / Chris Guccione / Feliciano Lopez / Jo-Wilfried Tsonga / Ivan Ljubicic / Mario Ancic / Michael Llodra / Gilles Muller / Xavier Malisse / Max Mirnyi / Nicolas Mahut / Robin Söderling / Frank Dancevic / Olivier Rochus / Robert Kendrick

Gobble gobble. Tommy the Turkey looks delicious.

Losing the extra pounds has made a huge difference in Andy's game. Tommy threw the kitchen sink at him in that first set and Andy was able to run everything down.

Hopefully Novak will win his match and we can have a rematch of their USO quarterfinal.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Robredo was the only player left in the draw with less on his groundies than roddick.

I guess Roddick must be the greatest player to ever play the game.

Is their h-2-h 0-10 now??? Is Roddick a surprise finalist this year?

How does Rodduck always get these piss easy draws to keep him in the top 10?

Wow... this one was really shocking.

Roddick to defeat Djoko and the forehandless Fed and then go on to defeat an exhausted Nadal in the final?

Everything is possible...

Re: AO 3R: Roddick smashes Robredo 7-5, 6-1, 6-3

this looks like USO 08 over and over again, the only difference is that last year Robredo took Djoker to 5 sets, but this section of the draw is almost the same

Andy played really well, I think he might have a shot at Djoker

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos
