Imagine this...

I just realized in what good shape men's tennis is. Imagine this top 10(the order is not that important):

1)Rafa
2)Fed
3)Djoke
4)Murray
5)Monfils
6)Tsonga
7)Simon
8)Del Pony
9)Cilic
10)Gasquet

SICK!!!

Do you think men's tennis has ever been in better shape?

Re: Imagine this...

It's a shame Gasquet isn't up there, he can beat just about all of those players on his day (except Federer and Nadal). Men's tennis is looking stronger, but there are only 2 real strong favourites for a Slam and only 1 for French. Djokovic doesn't look that strong anymore.

Well yeah i agree id love to see him there more then anything but he needs to shape up some more. He does look better lately though. Id like to believe he can beat all these players but i havnt seen eough of him to really make a judement. I mean his backhand is awesome, the rest of his game doesnt seem that great. Especially his forehand.

Re: Imagine this...

What would really be funny ruanz is if you put Nadal at number one. It would laugh millions of people to death.

I think he can beat most of players, Federer's improved his serve a lot so he cannot do those aggressive returns anymore like he did in that MC 05 match, Nadal is just... mentally superior. Murray.. very close. Djokovic - Gasquet has more talent than him.

All the other players he can beat. It's a shame he's not up there...

Re: Imagine this...

I might not agree with that top 10, but I agree that tennis has never been in better shape. This is the antithesis of a mug era.

So the question is when did the non-mug era begin?
