Apart from that one lapse in concentration James was playing very well. Some amazing defense and shot making. Really entertaining match!!

On this form he could cause an upset against Tsonga who dont look as good as last year!!

GO JB!!

ALLEZ FED!!!

Blake

Andreev is the biggest Blake's pigeon but it isn't surprsing. Andreev plays the balls with high bounce and it suits Blake perfectly because he hits the clearest forehand shots when the ball goes up. Andreev's weaker backhand works quite well only in the cross, so Blake can freely expose a lot of space on the court from his right side, without a fear that Andreev will finish points with backhands down the line.

Re: Blake beats Andreev 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.

Blake is just a bad matchup for Andreev. He could have won in 3 sets if he executed some volleys properly. He seems to be playing with a bit more controlled aggression than I've seen in a while which is nice. If his current form keeps up he could give Tsonga some trouble and win depending on Tsonga's condition. It sets up for an exciting quarter final though.

I guess Roddick must be the greatest player to ever play the game.

Blake's forehand was awesome in this match.

Way to go James

I've never seen him come to the net so much.
