Only two seeded casualties?

After 1st round? Could it be? This is rather unusual.

Muller def. Lopez (27)
Sela def. Schuettler (30)

Blake hasn't played yet. And Tsonga, Stepanek, Tursunov haven't finished playing.

Haha, yes, Peter's heartbreak loss has only made me want Frank to beat Blake even harder than before

Also, Nadal has not played yet

Re: Only two seeded casualties?

This doesn´t happen often. Blake must lose to fulfill the statistics. And to make me hapyy too.

GILLES MULLER, ERNESTS GULBIS, NOVAK DJOKOVIC, JO-WILFRIED TSONGA

Re: Only two seeded casualties?

So we have only 3 seeded that were defeated and none of them were top seeds.

Seed 27: Lopez
Seed 29: Tursunov
Seed 30: Schuettler

All Top 25 won their respective R1 match.

Re: Only two seeded casualties?

well considering the fact that one of them is rainer schuettler who shouldn't be a seeded player this is a good score for the seeded players

Nalbandian

Escude-Kuerten
Dutch players

Gasquet-Ferrero-Lopez-Mathieu

Nadal-Acasuso-Haas-Youzhny-Berdych-Gonzalez-Tursunov

Söderling-Del Potro-Bellucci-Lapentti-Roddick-Verdasco
