Koubek is underrated, but Youzhny really has gone to hell lately hasn't he.

Just so you know, my favorite players are Ferrero and Youzhny. What a day of brainless, useless tennis from both of them. At least JCF won a tiebreak but...

Wow, well done to Koubek though. Seems he got back into good shape in the offseason.

Looks like the Colonel has not made any newyear's resolutions. Youzhny can not continue to play like this because it is pathetic to say the least.

Re: Koubek def. Youzhny 6-3, 6-2, 6-2

well because he was a former quarterfinalist his loss was more then expected, because you know, when Misha is called to defend a past result he's always a fighter...
but really, in this way....

btw, he had only a good result to defend, now he's free from every pressures, so his season could start!

really hope to see another time him at his level but atm he looks so fucking far...

Re: Koubek def. Youzhny 6-3, 6-2, 6-2

Koubek smashed him pure and simple. One guy played intelligently and the other couldn't adjust to the conditions.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

That's because Misha is a fucking idiot and should retire already.

Misha
His coach was saying before the match, he still wasn't in greatest form following the misfortunes of last year, didn't get in the rythm yet this year, because only got to play 2 matches so far.

better luck in doubles, altough Zverev doesn't seem to be in good form either and they're playing 3rd seeds. ok, that thought didn't cheer me up.
