I didn't want to set up a thread about 2nd round in qualies so I paste here what I've written in your other thread CooCoo.
I was following the scoreboard. Kubot broke Dev's serve to lead 2:1 in the third. The next 3 games lasted I guess around 30 minutes (!) and all of them won the Hindu. 4:2, 4:4, 5:4, 5:5 (without MP), 5-7...
I wanted Dev's win but the positive circumstance is, I like Kubot much more that two other Polish qualifiers. It would be nice if he overcame Beck.

Ah, I think it's deserving of a thread, especially after last week's Chennai run.
I like Lukasz' game a lot, but his mental strength is deplorable. I'm quite surprised to read that he managed to veer back after those three excruciating games in the third set. Thanks for that info, Voo
never saw Kubots game..but hes a double specialist...so big serve and good volleys required...Somdev matched few similar players in recent time..which lack baseline consistency(i can only presume Kubot have a similar style)..so thats why im surprised
