Unhappy Brisbane SF: Stepanek def. Gasquet 2:6, 6:2, 6:4

His outfit was terrible, as his character was. He is the ultimate clown as his top fanboy from this forum was. He did show all the tricks he knew: like Muhammad Ali, Jimmy Connors...he even rode a ponny - like in a circus - where he actually belongs. I would like him to show us some of Hudini's tricks at the end - to disappear for good, with his irritating acting and sportmenship.

Gasquet has lost a mental battle from this provocateur.

And people were saying he was better than murray????

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

I can understand why it would annoy his opponents but Stepanek's prancing/dancing around on court to me is damn funny to watch. Hahahaha.

Good match.

"all eyes on me, in the center of the ring, just like a circus"

As a Gasquet fan I am sad about the result, but you have to give Radek a for being such a character. I might have been annoyed today but I know that if he was playing a player I disliked I would be at his antics

Kudos to Gasquet? Nah, fuck Gasquet for contriving to lose a match he was totally in control of and for capitulating when the pressure was on.

Did you watch the match it was actually a really good match. They were both on fire in different stages of the match. Better than anything i've seen so far in Doha or Chennai.

Gamesmenship in the clown outfit prevails over tennis.

Right, he was mentally weak for Stepanek.

Yes, Stepanek is the biggest clown on the tour but I don't treat it like a disadvantage. He brings on the Tour a lot of colours with his behaviour, clothes and unique style of play

Re: Brisbane SF: Stepanek def. Gasquet 2:6, 6:2, 6:4

Normally I find Steps's antics on court quite funny but today he was being a supreme ass. Nice interview though. As for Gasquet, you know it's bad when you lose a tight match to Radek.

Sexy for the title!
