Safin played quite well and amazingly seemed quite motivated throughout the match.

Exho season.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

An enjoyable match. Good serving from Marat and some nice shotmaking from both players.

Did they ask him about what happened in the post-match interview?

Hahah they did, but he didn't seem real keen on giving them the story.

I saw the beginning and he was being outplayed from the ground by Bolelli. You can't expect Bolelli to break though.

I missed the beginning but in the rest of the match Bolelli seemed to be playing poorly, with Safin being surprisingly consistent.

Safin even said in his post match interview that this is almost for certain his last season. He also said that he 'won' the fight in Moscow... Watching him play doubles with his sister now.
