Funny: Roddick wins a match with a frying pan.

http://www.elpais.com/articulo/depor...pepudep_11/Tes

Despite December being the month when pro tennis players take a rest, US player Andy Roddick, world #8, used the winter stop to promote charities for his foundation. The last one was on Saturday. The Nebraska gunner won an exhibition match with a frying pan against amateur player Chris Wetzel from Ohio Northern University, who played with a regular racquet, in a duel that also help publicize sport commentator Todd Gallager's book "Andy Roddick Beat Me With a Frying Pan".

The match, held at the Florida Stadium at the best of one set, was won 7-4 by Roddick. The American has agreed to take part in other charities alongside tennis players John Isner, Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki. He ended 2008 among the top ten players for the seventh year in a row, despite an injure-splattered season.

He cannot kick with his left foot, he cannot head a ball, he cannot tackle and he doesn't score many goals. Apart from that he's all right.

Haha cool So this other guy played with a racquet? Geez it's better than Monfils being a paddle tennis champion.

It would be a cool battle if a top 10 man would play with a frying pan against a top 10 women with a normal racket!

Not really. Bagel sets are pretty boring.

The hit sound must be less attractive with a frying pan

Enough Babolat. He needs the Martha Stewart Liquidmetal Radical OS Fryer.

What's the difference between a Babolat and a frying pan anyway?

If you do and I'm in the crowd, I'd like ice cream and blueberries please with my pancakes I'll eat quietly as I wouldn't want to be one of those rude people that eat noisily whilst a match is going on
