Del Potro - crucified his country by going to Shanghai injured... this is the problem with youth... poor move, bad management...

Argentina. Never have I seen an entire team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory like this. They had the trophy literally handed to them at every turn, home advatange all year long, no Rafa in the final, and all they could do in the end was tremble. What a team.

Congrats to Andy Roddick, 2017 Hall of Fame!

yeah... they really did sh!t themselves at a few big moments.. i am pretty disappointed for argentina to be honest... given how bad del potro feels right now, i dont think he would play YEC in the same situation again...

Nalbandian's run of 6 points from 5-1 up in the 3rd set tie break in the doubles deserves a mention.

The whole tie swung right there.

there was a volley in that series of points that fat dave missed... it caused me a skid mark and a little bit of vomit at the same time...

one of the worst volleys you'll see a pro hit. Double fault as well, and I remember another awful unforced error.

Del Potro

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Davis Cup - Mug performance of the weekend.

argentina as a group.

del potro, nalbandian, calleri and acasuso all have 1 loss.

it's ridiculously biased to blame del potro alone, or anyone else for that matter.

They've all been humbled, but the other 3 didn't travel half way across the world to play at an event, when they know they are clearly injured.

del potro for biting his tongue, getting injured and not able to play, nalbandian for choking in the doubles, and losing the davis cup with homecourt advantage and without rafa for spain...
