Tennis players who carried their countries flag

Is there a list of past flag bearers who were tennis players ?
We know that Federer will make it two times in a row, what about Rafa and Nole? Will Federer be the only tennis player?

For Germany it'll probably be NBA star Dirk Nowitzki.

Re: Tennis players who carried their countries flag

Seriously? What a marvelous lucky charm that has been for him. Even if it took 4 years to have any effect.
Good to hear about Gonzo. One more person to keep an eye on at the opening ceremony.

Re: Tennis players who carried their countries flag

Rios refused to carry the chilean flag in 2000, so Massu did it as an emergency...

Having the 'honour' of carrying that flag isn't always a good omen of what's to come...

Ask one Roger Federer.

Classless from both sides IMO.

Gonzalez will be the chilean flag bearer, very deserved as Massu was our bearer in 2000 in Rios' place.

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

Yeah, I remember that, I was there.

Excluding Federer and González, will there be more players carrying their countries flag? (This year, obviously)
