Improvements In Andy Murray's Game?

I am just curious what you guys think the improvements to Murray's game are that has allowed him to get to #6 in the world? I really...don't see any. But maybe some of you can enlighten me.

Strength and Serve are doing better atm

He is so talented but still a few years from putting it all together and gaining endurance for 5 set slams

Chris Fowler: "This is embarassing!"

Precisely. Seems even ESPN commentators (outside of Gilbitch of course) don't care for his game.

spoken like your idol

Murray is definitely improving but his gamestyle is questionable, especially considering that he has the capabilities to play a much nicer game. So far he's nothing more than a pusher with a very good serve and great court coverage

Re: Improvements In Andy Murray's Game?

1) Being much more aggressive with his forehand.

2) Serving better.

3) Improvements in attitude, isn't so down on himself.

I agree about the last two.

I haven't seen him be aggressive at all in this match, I guess he has just changed his tactics because of how poorly Novak is playing. His attitude has definitely improved.

You cannot compare Andy's aggressiveness to Nole and said that he has not improved. You should compare them to his matches earlier this year. Edit: He goes for it more often now.

Re: Improvements In Andy Murray's Game?

His serve and demeanour are better. He's got stronger and fitter and has realized that he can't be as passive anymore. He steps in on second serves better, too. He's going in the right direction, I think. He could be a tad bit more aggressive though. Also his FH doesnt give as many errors away now.

Djokovic
Davydenko, Baghdatis, Tipsarevic, Wawrinka, Gulbis, Troicki, Kyrgios
Sharapova, Jankovic, Zvonareva, Kirilenko, Vesnina, Dokic, Bacsinszky, Jovanovski, Pironkova
