Blake Def Simon 6-4 6-3

Simon

He just ran out of gas, esp with the type of game he plays.

I cannot stand Djokovic
NEW YORK METS

I'm an American who loves clay tennis and the clay season...what is wrong with that picture?

James Blake routines Gilles Simon 6-4 6-3

James was down *2-4 30-40 in the first set, after he saved that break point he was all business. He steamrolled Simon in the second set losing only 4 points on serve (2 on double faults) and not facing a single break point. Match was just over an hour.

at some of the tools that thought Simon would win this comfortably.

Proper tennis beats crap pushing and no game. I think rejoicing is in order.

Re: Blake Def Simon 6-4 6-3

Blake started the match very sloppy, especially from the BH wing (whatta surprise). But then he really stepped it up, used the FH very well for opening up the court, and deservingly won the match A very beautiful volley from James in the last game of the match at 15:15, btw.

I still don't understand, why players are so reluctant to attack Simon's serve, it has no power at all

Today is a victory for tennis.

Football is one of the few areas of life where even if you're untutored, you can go to a ground and see George Best beat three men, and you can realise, 'I have seen genius.'

Re: Blake Def Simon 6-4 6-3

Simon almost had a 5-2 lead to serve for the set but Blake held and then went on a run.

Of course it had no power, he couldn't even hit a serve! He completely ran out of gas today.
