Toronto R2: Murray defeats Wawrinka 6-2, 0-6 6-4

Wawrinka's backhand in the last couple of games was awful. What was Murray doing in that bagel?

A. Murray stutters past S. Wawrinka 6-2, 0-6, 6-4

Murray was great in the first set and Stan was poor. Stan was great in the second set and Murray was poor. And they were both lacklustre in the 3rd set.

Job done. Murray's a fighter if nothing else. He'll likely get spanked by Djokovic again tomorrow if he plays anything like he did in the last 2 sets.

When someone asks me "show me what you like about watching Andy Murray", this is the match I will absolutely NOT be digging out to show them

That second set made the Baby Jesus cry.

Comedy scoreline for a match that sucked all the humour out of me.

Djokovic will slap Andy tomorrow but no matter.

No, it wasn't. I posted it the second Stan hit the net on match point.

Typical Murray, often guilty of wearing a skirt.

At least he got the job done anyway, but little doubt that Djokovic will slap him silly tomorrow.

Overall 4/10 for Muzza real bad play from him he's not been to hot on hardcourts this year has he??

I am impressed with how he recovered from that 2nd set performance. He needs to be about 200% better against Djokovic but who knows he may be able to do it. Nole's not on top form either atm.

Go Andy!

So very very proud to be a fan of Mr Andy Murray Wimbledon Champion 2013

Double Grand slam champion. Olympic Gold Medalist. Holder of 9 Masters 1000 events # legend

Not if he plays like he did in the first set. If he plays like he did in the last 2 sets, we can expect breadsticks and bagels galore.
