Gulbis apparently still needs to get some work done in the Mental Department. What a self-destruction in that final set. :retard:

Well done, José! Always nice to see the older blokes coming through.

Gulbis was *5-1 up and also *5-3 and 30-0 up.

Has to be choke of the year.

Good job, Jose.

Biggest choke of the year without a shadow of a doubt, uncontested. Forget Nadal's Wimbledon 4th set jitters, this is choking at its finest.

well done Erno.

lol Gulbis was serving 5-1 in the third ,I came back to check for Dancevic Ancic score and i see 6-5 and serve for Acasuso, choked against one of the weakest minded player, well good for Chucho finally a good win.

Pure comedy from Ernests to lose the final set with a 5-1 lead.

What in the hell happened?

Gulbis had this match in his pocket and Acasuso is hardly known for his come-from-behind spirit.

one of gulbis' worst matches ever. he wouldn't have won a single game vs. the top 3 tonight. acasuso mediocre at best but he got some nice presents that kept him alive.

Re: Toronto R1: Jose Acasuso def. Ernests Gulbis 6-7, 6-3, 7-5

Big surprise considering how poor Chucho has been playing for months...he played well and Gulbis lost his head making errors.

Biggest surprise was Gulbis losing from *5-1 up in the third set.

I looked at the scoreboard..i saw 5-1 in the 3rd. I shower, and come back and find out Chucho had won. Amazing.
