Wimbledon R1: Grosjean def. Starace 6:2 7:5 6:1

Unfortunately I could only follow the livescores.
Can anyone tell me how he looked out there?
How was his level of play?

It's still Grosjean's usual best GS... I remember I was in London when he met Henman in the 1/4 finals. That was a great game!

Too much philosophy in this thread

His playing style is also of interest, he is the most technically pure moonballer on the tour
miles ahead of Nadal in esthetic terms, complete with a never-failing trademark grunt. A legend.

Nice win for Grosjean. He's past his best of course, but grass has always been his strong surface.
