Haase is great when he's on. Too inconsistent to beat Hewitt though.

4 and 1 in the tiebreaks if im not mistaken.

haase looked tired near the end. both physically and mentally. vintage hewitt 5-setter

Hewitt, don't this any more to me. 2 TBs.

Re: Wimbledon R1: Hewitt def. Haase 6-7 6-3 6-3 6-7 6-2

to bad he had two chances to break early in the fifth, the first one he wanted a return winner and the second he didnt want to make a mistake and played bad. Then a sloppy game with 2 dfs and a amazing passing by lleyton. could have been a win and possible round 3

Nalbandian

Escude-Kuerten
Dutch players

Gasquet-Ferrero-Lopez-Mathieu

Nadal-Acasuso-Haas-Youzhny-Berdych-Gonzalez-Tursunov

Söderling-Del Potro-Bellucci-Lapentti-Roddick-Verdasco

Good match for Haase, not consistent enough to be able to defeat Hewitt today but still a good match

If this Australian guy knew how to play tie-breaks he could be a great player

P.S. That pass for the break...

Well done Lleyton!

But damn, he really missed some incredible chances he should not have missed when he's truly on. I watched a few games of the 2nd set and he played the wrong ball a few times and let Haase win some great points which he should not have won.

At the end I'm glad he made it through

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Yeah I'm not sure what his record is since RG 2007 but it's been his biggest problem.

hewitt and tiebreaks

haase played well in parts though, but lleyton was able to step it up in the fifth. Good win lleyton, might screw his hip though.
