Wimbldeon seeds: Your ultimate draw

If you could do the draw and put players where you wanted them, how would you do it? Obviously, doing 128 can get pretty complicated so let's just do it for the seeds. Remember to follow the draw rules. Here's mine:

1. Roger FEDERER (SUI)
27. Nicolas KIEFER (GER)
19. Nicolas ALMAGRO (ESP)
13. Stanislas WAWRINKA (SUI)

9. James BLAKE (USA)
20. Lleyton HEWITT (AUS)
25. Dmitry TURSUNOV (RUS)
7. David NALBANDIAN (ARG)

6. Andy RODDICK (USA)

28. Gilles SIMON (FRA)
22. Fernando VERDASCO (ESP)
10. Marcos BAGHDATIS (CYP)

16. Radek STEPANEK (CZE)
23. Tommy ROBREDO (ESP)
26. Ivan LJUBICIC (CRO)
4. Nikolay DAVYDENKO (RUS)

3. Novak DJOKOVIC (SRB)

29. Andreas SEPPI (ITA)
21. Juan Carlos FERRERO (ESP)
14. Paul-Henri MATHIEU (FRA)

12. Andy MURRAY (GBR)
24. Jarkko NIEMINEN (FIN)
31. Feliciano LOPEZ (ESP)
5. David FERRER (ESP)

8. Richard GASQUET (FRA)

30. Gael MONFILS (FRA)
17. Mikhail YOUZHNY (RUS)
11. Tomas BERDYCH (CZE)

15. Fernando GONZALEZ (CHI)
18. Ivo KARLOVIC (CRO)
32. Michael LLODRA (FRA)
2. Rafael NADAL (ESP)

I know this doesn't really mean anything but I just thought it would be fun.

Not especially but I kinda see what you mean. I think it's pretty fair though. Ferrero made the QFs and Mathieu made the 4R last year which is certainly stronger than I made Fed's quarter.

It's not fair at all

Nadal's quarter is a nightmare.

Oh, I'm going to do one of these later, but our OP certainly did give Nadal a brutal quarter.

Did you even read my thread title or the introduction? How about you make your own draw instead of just criticizing mine? That was the intent of this thread in the first place.

As for Nadal's draw, Gonzo, Llodra and Karlovic might give him some trouble but he beat Ivo last week. Next would be Youzhny, Gasquet or Berdych and they've all played like crap lately. Plus, he beat Berdych and Youzhny here last year anyway.

Yes, I read it. I was just wondering why you gave Djokovic such an easy draw, and then you said you thought your draw was "fair". I was just pointing out that it wasn't

I have made my own "fair" draw:

1. Roger FEDERER (SUI)
30. Gael MONFILS (FRA)
20. Lleyton HEWITT (AUS)
16. Radek STEPANEK (CZE)

12. Andy MURRAY (GBR)
24. Jarkko NIEMINEN (FIN)
27. Nicolas KIEFER (GER)
7. David NALBANDIAN (ARG)

3. Novak DJOKOVIC (SRB)
32. Michael LLODRA (FRA)
18. Ivo KARLOVIC (CRO)
15. Fernando GONZALEZ (CHI)

11. Tomas BERDYCH (CZE)
17. Mikhail YOUZHNY (RUS)
26. Ivan LJUBICIC (CRO)
6. Andy RODDICK (USA)

4. Nikolay DAVYDENKO (RUS)
31. Feliciano LOPEZ (ESP)
22. Fernando VERDASCO (ESP)
14. Paul-Henri MATHIEU (FRA)

9. James BLAKE (USA)
21. Juan Carlos FERRERO (ESP)
25. Dmitry TURSUNOV (RUS)
8. Richard GASQUET (FRA)

5. David FERRER (ESP)
29. Andreas SEPPI (ITA)
19. Nicolas ALMAGRO (ESP)
10. Marcos BAGHDATIS (CYP)

13. Stanislas WAWRINKA (SUI)
23. Tommy ROBREDO (ESP)
28. Gilles SIMON (FRA)
2. Rafael NADAL (ESP)

What I didn't say is that Nole draws Soderling 1st round, and the winner of Isner/Ancic in the 2nd.
