I am impressed with Kei. Great fight by both of them. Best match so far IMO.

Great performance from Kei! Screw the Delray win, he made his statement today. Nice match from Nadal too. I'm pulling for Ivo tomorrow though!

yeah great match. 97 mph winners from a guy who has not fully developed physically. hopefully Kei can keep up good performance.

Re: Queens R3: Nadal def Nishikori 6-4 3-6 6-3

I was thinking, if Nadal won by 2 sets, to ask you guys if Nadal had a tough time with Kei since I was just watching the live scores but I think I got my answer seeing that it took him 3 sets to take it. And each set with only one service break.

How did Nadal play, though?

Let's rearrange the letters:
DORMITORY - dirty room
THE EYES - they see
A DECIMAL POINT - im a dot in place
SNOOZE ALARMS - alas, no more Zs
ASTRONOMER - moon starer
MOTHER-IN-LAW - woman hitler
ELEVEN PLUS TWO - twelve plus one
ELECTION RESULTS - lies, let's recount

Nishikori look to have a bright future. Very talented. he's a potential trend setter, too. I can see his jumping lasoo forehand catching on. He's got a bit of flair about him and responds well to pressure, it seems.

Played pretty well. Picked up his game in the third set. Can't take anything away from Kei, though. He played a blinder of a 2nd set and deserved to level the match.

Both played well, I thought Kei served very well. He gave Rafa a real fight in the second set. Both were hitting some cracking forehands. The crowd seemed quite into it too.

Enjoyed the match. Nadal played well, but Nishikori really impressed. Here's hoping we see more of him in the future.

Re: Queens R3: Nadal def Nishikori 6-4 3-6 6-3

It was a good match. I liked Nishikori before, and I like him even more now. A 3rd set was a bit more than he could handle, I think, but he played very well in those first two sets. Rafa never really played badly, although after he slid into the net and got broken in the 2nd set - he looked as though he'd rather be frolicking on the beach in Mallorca with his girlfriend. Rafa picked it up a bit in the 3rd set and only lost like 4 points on his serve (one of those being a double fault, so only 3 that he actually played). Good job from him.

Now Rafa can continue his tradition of losing in the QF's. It's worked so well the past 2 years, why the hell stop now? Vamos Rafa!

Never miss an opportunity to make others happy, even if you have to leave them alone in order to do it.
