Halle R2: Federer def. Vacek 7-5 6-3

Not a good performance by Fed.

He looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.

Halle R2: Federer def. Vacek 7-5, 6-3

good serve from Fed and many UEs on return, meets winner of Santoro/Baghdatis, should be a very interesting and fun match either way (ESPECIALLY if it's Santoro )

Federer played a good match on his serve.
He made a lot of UE on the returning games but got the needed breaks at the end of both sets.

Dear oh dear, that was painful to watch. And for how long has Rog planned on bringing Higueras along?

Not the best performance but who cares? It was only his second match on the lovely grass this year, so...

Fed was once the king of 1st serve returns. Lately he sucks at that department. And judging by the stats. He continues to suck at that.

Players who make me...
:Federer - Davydenko - FitDave - Cilic
:Safin - Monfils - Non-Slam Federer.
:Nadal - Roddick - Murray

That was a little painful to watch, but hasn't he always "struggled", played close matches in Halle over the years?

Re: Halle R2: Federer def. Vacek 7-5 6-3

i have to say, this was the expected result. Fed, in Halle, against a low-ranked player that he plays for the first time, early rounds... in fact i was expecting a tie-breaker that didn't happen so he did better than I thought

56 in a row. ONWARDS ROGER

Dirty or clean he's doing what he needs to do to get back on track.

Kudos to him even if he sucks and Mirka is fat (just in case anyone thinks I'm going sweet on Fed).

Right. He'll be king of Halle again, without a doubt. It's allowed to have a bad day.
