Re: Queens 2nd round: Roddick df. Ginepri 6-7,6-1,6-1

He needed some time to get the game clicking. He broked 5 times in the last two sets. Robby never had a BP.

Re: Queens 2nd round: Roddick df. Ginepri 6-7,6-1,6-1

Ginepri completely fell apart after Andy broke him in 2nd set.

Andy improved his play (especially from the baseline) after a below average 1st set. A couple of very nice lobs from him in this match His play didn't look that bad, imo. The serve was also there. Overall, job well done, Andy!

Andy, great return

Win this. Ginepri just fell apart, really. That happens more often in womens matches so kinda weird...

Friend destroyed friend. In 1st Ginepri was good but Andy started to play his best. I'd love to see Andy-Novak SF (if...).

Andy brutalizes another one of his buds. Glad he worked out the kinks from the first set.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Queens 2nd round: Roddick df. Ginepri 6-7,6-1,6-1

Nice job Andy.

Robby was playing some good tennis coming into this match and Andy hadn't played at all. That was the story of this first set.

Roddick all class when he turns it on.
