Nice little doubles win, given that Dani is a part time player. Wish the BBC had actually shown it, mind you.

This Vallverdu is good... Sorry...

Seriously who is he? Never heard of him and wondering why Andy chose him?

They are good friends from Andy's time in Spain. He's a college player in the US, I think.

Are you the Virtua Tennis 3 MrExcel?

Not really. Played you a few times. I'm Jim MacD. Ranked 3rd. I just remember you using Henman.

Can't say I remember... But then if you're ranked third I probably lost and don't tend to remember the loses! Hope it was close though... I'd be top 100 if it wasn't for idiots with connection problems

Completely agree. The few weeks in the year we have tennis on terrestrial TV and they opt not to show all of the matches. It wasn't even as if there was anything more important, just football classics or some such thing. It drives me mad.

Must have been exciting

As exciting as livescore can be. Can't really discuss performances. Seems like a good win, though. Andy and Dani remain an unbeaten doubles pairing

Tell me about it. I wanted to strangle Andrew Castle (more than I normally do) when they went off air.

You beat me 3-1 once when I was ranked outside the top 100. You kept slicing and coming into the net with your Henman and I kept coming forward expecting the drop shot. I think we maybe played twice after that, and I won those (when I broke into the top 10).

VT3 is dying anyway. Top Spin 3 on the way, though

He doesn't even know the rules... He thought you can put your racket across the net to hit a volley... Then Rusedski had to correct him that that's only when the ball bounces on your side and the back-spin takes it back over... I despair...

Yeah, I;ve had that urge a few times. At least it wasn't Pat Cash, although I suppose I have the joys of his commentary to look forward to

Particularly shocking given that he was a professional tennis player.
