I think you should take a look back at some of your previous posts

Yes.

EDiT: Sorry, I take that back. I didn't read your post properly. The day THE WTA players as a collective produce better tv ratings and crowds is the day they can earn more than their male counterparts. A WTA player drawing that much attention (and I'm assuming it's purely for her looks, but regardless...) can earn her millions with endorsements off court.

And I don't see how malicious comments are funny... Anyway I'm out of the discussion. There have been way too many snide comments; I have no interest discussing with people who can't interact with others in a civilized matter. Typical reaction when some people chauvinism is being threatened.
Considering you got upset when other posters, some of them women had posted sound counterarguments to your points which had little base that's very funny. Have a look at your own posts.

Considering there are a lot people that don't agree with some of the things I say, there isn't a problem with that at all, but your arguments got the treatment it deserved.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Equal Prize Money for men/women??

It is very simple. You get what you can in the market place.
But I hope the women do not go to 5-setters just so that they can claim equal work as the men. It is bad enough waiting for a 3-setter to finish!

Difference between women's prize money?

What is the difference in prize money at the Australian open between men and women, does anybody know? I've searched to find out but can't find a thing.

Re: Difference between women's prize money?

it is only like 50$ less for women - a ridiculously small difference.

I thought they received equal prize money at the AO.

Re: Difference between women's prize money?

Yep, the difference at the AO is $0.

I think it's Wimbledon that still has the absurdly small difference between men and women.

Re: Difference between women's prize money?

So Mauresmo got exactly the same as Federer! Id be pretty pissed if i was him, he actually had to play in his semifinal and final to earn his money.

Rising Brits:
Jamie Baker

Colin Fleming

Also Rooting for:

I'm certain that in the afterglow of winning his 2nd Australian he turned to inquire about the Women's prize money and promptly pitched a fit on the spot when he discovered Mauresmo would recieve the same amount as the Women's Champion as he did as the Mens' - outrageous!. That seems really in character for Federer and I bet as he stormed out Mirka meekly trailed behind him by three paces never uttering a sound and never making eye contact with him. Yep I am certain that's exactly how it played out.

Get a grip - why would he care and less importantly why do you?

If it makes you feel any better Amy Frazier has won 3 matches in Memphis and still won't collect as much as 2nd round loser Paul Goldstein.

I used to argue for women players getting equal prizemoney but after the Australian Open final with Henin-Hardenne having a stomach ache I will no longer aruge for them.
