This is the end of some era in German tennis. This year at Roland Garros for the first time since Roland Garros 2001, Germany was without a seeded player in a Grand Slam event. *8 players in the draw and all have lost in the 1st round (in 3 or 4 sets, none of them wasn't close to be in the 2nd round).

Schuettler, Kiefer and Haas are in the early 30's quite close to retirements, there are no successors.
