Pörtschach R2: Ljubicic def Ivan Navarro 7-6(3) 6-4

the brad Gilbert theory has been proven wrong, brad said that if a player serves 70% and wins 70% 1st and 2nd serves he cant lose a match, navarro did

Ljubo served great, 15 aces (4 at *5-4)
won 50 of 60 on serve ( 36/39 1st)

Impressive, I honestly thought that Ivan was finished and would disappear by the end of the year. This is a good showing for him, winning matches on clay!

i've watched about 5-6 on his clay matches this year and he is hitting the ball well, he will bounce back on grass and hard and he is one good GS or AMS alway from top 15.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you're winning 70% of BOTH 1st AND 2nd serves, then it is completely irrelevant what percentage of those are 1st serves.

You could as well serve at 33% - as long as you're winning 70% on both, you're just fine.
