Re: Todd Reid's Comeback

Looking at his form he was quite a talent even before he turned 20, and is only 23 now.
What happened to him?

Re: Todd Reid's Comeback

He has really been quiet ever since he left tennis. At least he has made his professional career very clear. Its pretty good that his making an impact straight after his comeback. Thats a hard job to do.

First he had some injuries, then I heard that he got into the highlife, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, glad to see him back. I still remember his great Aussie summer of 2004. There is still some time for him to make an impact on the tour for sure.

If Todd Reid makes a successful comeback, he would have to tell the public what happened in the layoff. Did Todd Red really turn to drugs? I've heard that it was just a rumour.

Could be who knows. Just reminds me I dont think Tennis Australia does enough in the transition from juniors to seniors. Maybe Reid is a victim.

Re: Todd Reid's Comeback

Its quite weird Reid is choosing to play in Spain on the red clay. Maybe he is giving himself a challenge or rather he does not want to be in the spot light for his 3 year layoff.

Re: Todd Reid's Comeback

Yeah he was a good talent and nice to see him trying another stab at it. Can't remember how he played, but hopefully the game hasn't passed him by (at the higher levels)...tennis has progressed a little bit in the last 3 years or so.
