Re: Bryans out of Wimbledon

Grass is not their best nor their preferred surface - they like it slower... but still they won Queens a couple weeks ago and just lost to a team that's not even a real team

Re: Bryans out of Wimbledon

shoscker. Ginepri? wow

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Re: Bryans out of Wimbledon

They showed this on TV here - Gimelstob and Humphries played really well - everything they tried just seemed to be coming off. Just one of those things I guess. They looked so happy at the end as well - personally can't stand the Bryan Brothers so I was very happy with the result

I can't stand them either, so I'm buoyed by this triumph. I take back all the bad things I said about Gimelstob.

Re: Bryans out of Wimbledon

Well done to Gimbelstob and Humphries, I watched this match, and they played really well.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: Bryans out of Wimbledon

Justin and Scott have played doubles together before, and even won an ATP title together, so I think they are a real team. I'm a little surprised they won this match, but good for Justin to do so well coming back from more than 6 months off after his broken foot.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Re: Bryans out of Wimbledon

Don't underestimate Justin and Scott. Those two have some doubles experience and Justin is having his moment!
