Re: Berdych def Tursunov 6-2 6-2

Berdych played well - congrats to him. Dima just looked tired - three long matches (all going the distance), against Korolev, Gasquet and Lopez, probably caught up with him. Good tournament for him anyway, and no disgrace to lose to a player of Berdych's class.

Good luck to Berdych in the rest of the tournament.

Oh well, it was still a respectable run by Dmitry. Congrats to Berdych.

Re: Berdych def Tursunov 6-2 6-2

Normally I don't root for Berdych but I'm hopeful he can continue so he can beat Nadal if they both make the semis. He owns Nadal on hard courts.

Sad for Dmitry but he had 3 solid wins this week so I'm more than satisfied.

he is 3-0 against Nadal on hard courts -one indoor- but none of those matches were easy, and miami surface suits Nadal pretty well.

Great job, Tomas! His next match will be interesting no matter it is Nadal or PHM.

Re: Berdych def Tursunov 6-2 6-2

Berdych looks like the man to beat here in Miami - if he manages to keep up this level of playing, which he rarely ever does during an entire tournament.

I hope he'll do well, though - he's been on quite a draught regarding victories the past few months.
