This is the first time that Montanes has beaten a player ranked inside the top 250 away from clay, since his 6-4 6-4 victory over Gabashvili in R1 at New Haven last August.

Kei broke in the second game of the match and served for the set at *5-3. Not sure about any set points saved by Montanes. Anyway, how do you go from making a comeback against Blake to blowing against Montanes?
