Sunrise "Challenger": Robin Haase d. Sebastien Grosjean 7-5, 5-7, 6-1

Robin Haase completed his good run after defeating Hrbaty, Seppi, Tipsarevic and Guccione he took revanche beating Sebastien Grosjean.

He won his fourth 3sets match this week and now has to travel to Miami to play Rik de Voest, tired but full of confidence. Last year he qualified for the first time for a Masters tournament, losing to Monaco in the first round.

Indeed. But at least he's full of confidence right now, hopefully that will help Robin to get through.

If there's one thing I particularly noticed about Robin, it's that he's very much determined to do better and better. Hope he'll manage.

Wow, that's really impressive the often-top-player-filled-challenger is great win for ROBIN !!

For a Dutch player going towards the Top 50 and let us hope Top 20 is a significant enought effort, hope he can build on this, I'd like to see him at least at a Q-final spot at Miami, I don't think that's so far fetched ... GO ROBIN !!

Impressive field of who he beat considering it is a challenger.

Nice of you!

Yes, it would do wonders to Dutch tennis as there hasn't been anyone being much of a value to recon with since Sjeng Schalken.
As for Miami, he'll first have to make it through the Qualies - not that easy after having given so much at the Sunrise Challenge. But it surely looks like Robin has the right attitude, he's in the winning mood, so if he makes it through the Qualies alone I'll already consider that a good performance.

Yes, top 50 would be a historical feat already. The last Dutchman to be inside the top 50 was not Schalken by the way, it was Martin Verkerk: 25-Oct-04. Three years and 5 months have passed already.
Verkerk will probably think he will reach top 50 again, sooner than Haase
