After the delayed treatment he kept kicking at his heel as if he wasn't comfortable with the wrap. He was also rushing to finish points.

Re: did nadal have problem with his foot?

It looked sore, but it played no part in the result.

Yeah it was along with the rest of him being stamped on by Nole.

Sampras GOAT

FC Porto. Arsenal.

Del Potro. Murray. Nalbandian. Soderling. Useless Gil.

Re: did nadal have problem with his foot?

It was just some blisters on his toe(s).

So nothing.

Re: did nadal have problem with his foot?

Tennis World has some quotes from Rafa's presser. He said he doesn't have an injury, it was just something with the toenail- but did not affect the outcome of the match.

Quote:
Nadal press conference quotes:

Q. You seemed to have trouble finding your game most the day, and you appeared to have an injury. Give us an overview of what heppened.

RAFAEL NADAL: No, sir, no. No injury. I didn't feel well playing tennis. I had more mistakes than usually. Well, I feel a little bit tired from the last two matches. That's sure. Because, well, in the runs I feel a little bit more slowly than days before.

Well, if you play against one player like Novak you have to play 100% if I want to have chances to win.

******

Q. What did you take the medical timeout for? What was happening with your foot?

RAFAEL NADAL: Yeah, I was - I don't know exactly, no? But very tough in English for me. I improve but not a lot.

MODERATOR: Just next to the nail, next to the toenail. It was just, you know, bothering me. It was hitting - every time I was pushing near the toenail.

RAFAEL NADAL: I'm not saying that this affect the match. It's not an excuse.

I like a lot of players.

Blister on his toe like Nole in the 2007 Wimbledon SF, talk about karma....
