Outstanding week for Davydenko.

To think that he was match point down to Gulbis, and then emerged undefeated in this event...gives him a huge jump of 10 places, and a reasonable shot at holding onto a top 4 place going into the grass season.

Interesting comparison there, thanks for sharing.

Amazing how Haas (although injured), Ljubicic, Gonzalez and Chela have fallen away.

Fed and Muzza the two biggest disappointments of this year's current top 10, so far, imo.

Re: ATP Champions Race to Shanghai 2008

Once again, Monte Carlo gets hit by a number of withdrawals...each of the following will receive 0 points in their mandatories package: Roddick, Blake, Berdych, Gonzalez, Canas, Tsonga, Baghdatis and Hewitt.

Andreev is the first new entrant into the top 25 for a few weeks. Tipsarevic (#26) and Gasquet (#28) waiting in the wings...

Re: ATP Champions Race to Shanghai 2008

Just performed a quick update.

For all the Croat tennis fans out there, Mr. Ancic is about to enter the building. Barcelona R3 puts him up to a provisional #27 with 77 points.
