I'll try to update the standings on a daily basis, and if you do spot any mistakes, please let me know (hopefully there won't be any ).

I'll stick to top 25 for the moment, but I've left an extra post free to extend this to top 50 within the next few months, when more significant points gaps will begin to emerge.
good work. i think once all the dust settles, we may very well have the same 8 as last time. only replace davydenko with murray.

Dubai winner settled.

Las Vegas - Querrey and Ginepri each have a shot at top 25, tonight, should they win their respective matches. Querrey currently 26th with 53 points (Gonzo has the better optional average), while Ginepri is at 33rd with 45 points.

Re: ATP Champions Race to Shanghai 2008

A fantastic week for American tennis. Roddick picks up the Dubai title (rising 15 places) and Querrey lands the Las Vegas title, shooting him into the top 20 (up 22 places).

The Race takes on greater significance over the next 4 weeks, with up to 100 points up for grabs in each of IW / Miami:

A chance for Djokovic to open up an even more commanding lead.
A chance for Federer to push for top 3 (where he belongs).
A chance for Roddick to complete the foundations of another top 10 finish in 2008.
A chance for Muzza to build himself a useful platform to ride into the clay/grass season (which he largely missed in '07).
A chance for Llodra to wave goodbye to a top 10 ranking.

New entry to the top 25 - Mardy Fish.

Haas still a long way off, at #50 with 33 pts.
